Call to dissolve Ministry of National Reconciliation
WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: Wassit’s Provincial Council called for dissolving the State Ministry for National Reconciliation following the assassination of the head of Questioning and Justice Authority Ali al-Lami, as stated by its chairman. Mahmoud Abdul Redha told IraqiNews.com that the provincial council called to dissolve the ministry, because “it pardoned Baathists and Saddamists,” referring to previous regime members. He accused Baathists of the assassination. Unknown gunmen assassinated Lami on Thursday night in the center of Baghdad using weapons equipped with silencers.
