Casualties of Falluja car bombing up: 2 dead, 9 injured

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: The toll of casualties caused by the Falluja car bombing on Sunday has increased to two dead and nine injured. “In addition to the casualties, nine nearby houses have been destroyed,” a local security source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He did not mention further details, but earlier, a local police source said that one civilian was killed and five others wounded when a car bomb went off in central Falluja city. “The blast occurred near the al-Tawfeeq Mosque, central Falluja,” the police source said. He explained that the blast was orchestrated by gunmen who blew the car up immediately after they robbed the house of a local small banker. “Police forces sealed off the area,” the police source added. Falluja, the biggest city of Anbar province, lies 45 km west of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR 2
