Child wounded in IED blast in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A child was wounded when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off in western Mosul city on Sunday, police said. “The IED ripped through 17 Tammuz neighborhood, western Mosul, leaving one child injured,” a security source told IraqiNews.com. “The IED did not target any security or military personnel,” the source said, adding the child happened to be near the scene of the explosion. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. AmR (P)/SR 1
