Civilian killed in explosive blast in Kut

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi civilian has been killed in an explosive charge blast, stuck to his car in southern Iraq’s city of Kut, the center of Wassit Province, a security source reported on Saturday.   “A civilian has been killed on Saturday noon in an explosive charge blast, set up under his personal car at the entrance of Kut,” the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   He said the explosive charge blew off after the victim left a restaurant on the main road connecting Kut with Baghdad, burning down the car and all the personal documents of the victim.   Kut, the center of Wassit Province, is 180 km to the southeast of Baghdad.   SKH (TP)/SR 717
