Civilian shot down in Falluja

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: One civilian on Monday was killed by unknown gunmen in a Falluja village, according to a local security source. “Unknown gunmen driving a vehicle opened fire on a civilian in al-Bou Youssuf village, western Falluja, killing him on the spot,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The gunmen have fled to an unknown destination,” the source added. Falluja was a scene of armed conflict between U.S. and Iraqi forces on the one hand and al-Qaeda gunmen on the other. Falluja, the largest city in Anbar, lies 45 km west of Baghdad; while Ramadi, the capital of the province, lies 110 km west of Baghdad. SS (P) 1
