Coalition strike kills ISIS military commander of western Sharqat

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Monday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that 4 ISIS elements, including a senior military leader within the group, have been killed in an air strike by the international coalition in northern Tikrit.

The source told IraqiNews, “The international coalition conducted an air strike on a residential building that was used as a headquarters for the ISIS group in the western area of al-Sharqat district, located in northern Tikrit,” adding that, “The air strike resulted in killing 4 ISIS elements including the ISIS military commander for the western part of the district.”
