Iraqi customs officer captured red handed in bribery

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A team from the Integrity Commission arrested an Iraqi customs police officer red handed in bribery.

A statement by the Commission received by IraqiNews.com mentioned “A team from the Commission moved towards Abu Gharib Customs Department according to judicial verdict to observe the behaviors of the Lieutenant (S. A. H.) who is responsible for following up files of the Manifest vehicles but he receives bribes from the citizens to accomplish the files.”

“The team documented the behaviors of the officer and then arrested him red handed while receiving 931,000 IQD,” the statement added.

“The specialized judge instructed to detain for investigation,” the statement concluded.
