“Dangerous” man arrested, arms seized inside house in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Security forces arrested a “dangerous” gunman in southern Karbala city and seized arms and ammunition inside his house, the Karbala police media director said on Saturday. “The operation relied on intelligence tip-offs,” Major Alaa Abbas told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said that the suspect was arrested inside his house in al-Ghadeer neighborhood, (4 km) in southern Karbala. “The suspect is currently under investigative custody in an attempt to detect his affiliations,” Abbas added.
