Depot found in eastern Falluja

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Policemen on Monday found a weapons and explosive cache in eastern Falluja, a senior police officer said. “Police forces found a weapons depot buried under the ground in Subaijat region, including five missiles, 10 Katyusha rockets and 20 explosive charges,” Colonel Hatef Mohamed told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The force seized also 12 cannonballs, 9 mortar shells, 9 rocket propelled grenade (RPG) and seven missiles,” he added. “The operation was waged in light of intelligence information and citizens’ cooperation,” he explained. Falluja is 45 km west of Baghdad, while Ramadi, the capital of Anbar, lies 110 km west of Baghdad. SH (P)/SR 1
