Diyali completely liberated from ISIS, says MP

Diyali (IraqiNews.com) On Saturday, MP Qasim al-Araji announced, that the Iraqi joint forces have regained control over the area of Mansouriyat-al-Jabal, stressing that the entire province of Diyali has been completely liberated from ISIS.

“Army forces backed by al-Hashed al-Sha’bi fighters and local police brigades have managed to attack the last ISIS stronghold in Diyali province at Mansouriyat-al-Jabal by firing heavy artillery into the entire territory,” al-Araji said.

“The operation resulted in liberating the entire area of al-Mansouriya.”

“Iraqi joint forces are now engaged in combing the neighborhoods and local streets of the area,” he added.
