Driver’s body found in Wassit province

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: A driver’s body was found dead one day after his kidnapping north of Kut,  Wassit police sources said here today. The source told IraqiNews.com that the body was left on the highway with marks of torture. No other details were given, but the sources expected that a kind of resistance happened between the victim and the kidnappers. Kut, center of Wassit province, lies 180 km south east of the capital, Baghdad.
