East Karbala blast death toll up to 6

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Four wounded from the Karbala blast which occurred last Tuesday died this morning of their wounds, a medical source said on Thursday. “The death toll from the Karbala blast late on Tuesday (Feb. 2) rose to six deaths as four people died of their wounds,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The remaining 19 wounded persons are in a stable health condition and some of them left the hospital,” he added. An explosive charge went off late Tuesday (Feb. 2) after the midnight in Qantarat al-Salam region, east of Karbala, killing two and injuring 23. Karbala is 110 km southwest of Baghdad. SH (P)/SR 2
