Eastern Falluja attack’s casualties rise to 10
ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Casualties from the bomb blast in eastern Falluja on Friday went up to two dead and eight wounded, a police source said. “The explosive device, which went off in al-Shuhadaa marketplace in al-Karma district, eastern Falluja, killed two civilians and wounded eight more,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Policemen managed also to defuse a roadside bomb in al-Sajr region in al-Karma district,” he added. “Security forces sealed off the whole region and started a searching campaign,” he said. A police source had said earlier that two civilians were killed and five more were wounded in an improvised explosive device blast in al-Shuhadaa marketplace in central al-Karma district, eastern Falluja. Falluja, the largest city in Anbar, lies 45 km west of Baghdad; while Ramadi, the capital of the province, lies 110 km west of Baghdad. SH (P) 3
