Five civilians killed, 7 injured in Anbar attack
ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Five Iraqi civilians have been killed and 7 others were injured in an armed attack by unknown gunmen on a house of the pro-government al-Sahwa (Awakening) Force south of Falluja city of west Iraq’s Anbar Province on Wednesday, an Anbar security source reported. “A group of armed men have attacked the house of a leader of al-Sahwa Force in Annaz village, southeast of Falluja, killing 5 civilians, including 2 children and wounding 7 others,” the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency. The security source did not give the name of the said al-Sahwa leader, who he said was not at home when the attack took place, adding that the armed men had escaped to an unknown destination, whilst the security forces began an investigation about the incident. Falluja, the largest city of Anbar Province is 60 km to the west of Ramadi, the center of Anbar Province , 110 km to the west of Baghdad . SKH (IT)
