Forged currency seized in southeast of Sulaimaniya
SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces seized an amount of forged Iraqi currency in the possesion of a bride and a groom at a checkpoint in the southeast of Sulaimaniya, the Sharazour police department said on Monday. “The forces seized 1.350 million Iraqi dinars with a groom and a bride at a checkpoint near Halabja district in southeast of Sulaimaniya,” the police department said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “They were arrested on Tuesday (May 19),” it added. “Investigation still underway,” it noted.
