KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: A leading figure of the dissolved Baath party was arrested in Baghdad for killing Iraqis in Karbala, deputy chairman of the Karbala council said on Tuesday. “Security authorities in Baghdad, in cooperation with Karbala police department, arrested Marza Suheil, one of the leading figures in the dissolved Baath party in Karbala, for perpetrating crimes against Iraqi people and he is a member of an armed cell, which was working for the former regime,” Nassief Jassem al-Khatabi told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The detainee was abroad, but intelligence information underlined his presence in a region in Baghdad,” he noted.
