German police arrest 4 ISIS supporters in raid in Berlin

Berlin, Germany (IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, the security authorities in Berlin arrested 4 people for allegedly supporting the ISIS group after raiding their apartments in the Schoneberg district.

The four men were arrested on an anti-terror raid in Berlin that aimed at preventing people from carrying out any terrorist attacks in the country. The German authorities raided four apartments in the Schoneberg district and arrested the four elements who are Turkish nationals and suspected of gathering equipment to send in Syria and Iraq.

Noteworthy, Germany officially banned ISIS from any activities in the country last September. Several arrests in Germany came on the back of capturing Islamil Issa, a 24-year-old German citizen who admitted last year that he had returned to Germany last year to buy equipment and supplies such as sports watches, combat trousers and night-vision gear.
