Girl found dead in Kut

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: Police forces on Saturday found the body of a girl in western Kut, according to a local security source. “The girl had her hands and feet bound. The corpse was thrown in a deserted area in al-Horaa neighborhood, western Kut,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. The body belongs to a 30-year-old girl. It bears signs of gunshot wounds to the neck, the source indicated. The corpse has been handed over to the morgue in al-Zahraa Hospital, Kut, the source added. Kut, the capital city of Wassit province, lies 180 km southeast of Baghdad. SS (P)/SR 1
