Hilla bombings perpetrator busted
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The perpetrator of the al-Askandariya and Hilla textile factory bombings was arrested, the state-run al-Iraqiya channel reported on Monday. “Quick Response Department (QRD) arrested Qassem Mohammad Jassem, al-Qaeda leader, who is responsible for the bombings in Bab al-Hussein and the textile factory in Hilla,” the channel said in a Urgent. “Seven terrorists were arrested for their involvement in the recent attacks in Babel, Kut, al-Aouja,” it added. Last Monday, a total of 89 Iraqis were killed and 340 were wounded in a series of attacks and armed operations in separate areas of Iraq. Two car bombs and a suicide bomber with explosive belt were hit on Monday the Hilla Textile factory, leaving at least 55 people killed and 220 others wounded. SH (P) 4
