IED defused in Kut

Wassit (IraqiNews.com) A security force defused an Improvised Explosive Device IED emplaced near a police station in northern Kut city.

Security source mentioned to IraqiNews.com on Sunday that ”A force of the Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit managed to defuse a locally made IED which was emplaced near a police station in Shuhada neighborhood of northern Kut city the central of Wassit province.”

The source added “The IED was defused without any human casualties or material damage.” \
