IED explodes in Baquba [12/10/2013]

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) An Improvised Explosive Device exploded inside a place used to wash bodies of dead people, killing and injuring 20 persons in Baquba district on Tuesday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The IED went off targeting the families of the seven workers who were killed by unidentified gunmen earlier on Tuesday morning.”

“While the families attending the wash of the bodies of the killed workers, the IED exploded,” the source added.

“A security force hurried to transfer the injured to the hospital for treatment and the dead to the morgue,” the source concluded.
