IED explosion wounds member in al-Hashd al-Shaabi in southern Kirkuk

(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – A security source in Kirkuk revealed, that a member in al-Hashd al-Shaabi was wounded while dismantling an improvised explosive device in southern Kirkuk.
The source said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Today, a member in al-Hashd al-Shaabi tried to dismantle an improvised explosive device emplaced by ISIS inside one of the houses in Bashir village in Taza Khurmatu vicinity,” pointing out that, “The improvised explosive device exploded, wounding al-Hashd al-Shaabi member with medium injuries.”
The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, added, “A force from al-Hashd al-Shaabi transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital.”
