Intensive security measures imposed to face demonstration in Ramadi, west Iraq

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: The security forces in west Iraq‘s Anbar Province have imposed intensive security measures to face a demonstration, scheduled to take place in its main city of Ramadi, demanding the improvement of services in the province, it was reported in Ramadi on Sunday. “The security forces have imposed strict security measures, preventing cars and motorbikes to tour Rmadi city, in preparation for the demonstration, scheduled to take place in Ramadi’s Celebrations Square and the City’s Stadium,” the report, that landed in IraqiNews.com news agency, pointed out, adding that “the demonstrates are demanding the provision of services and the expulsion of ‘corruptible elements’ from the State bodies.” Noteworthy is that the Sunday demonstration will not be the first of its type, as a peaceful demonstration took place in Ramadi on February 6th, demanding the government to provide services, put an end to unemployment and administrative corruption.
