International coalition shells ISIS gathering in Samarra
(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – On Saturday, Anti-Terrorism Bureau announced, that 60 jihadists of the so-called the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria were killed in an air strike carried out by the international coalition aviation on ISIS gathering in northern Salahuddin while preparing to attack Samarra.
The Bureau’s Spokesman Sabbah al-Noman said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Today, international coalition aviation has bombarded a gathering of ISIS in al-Zap area in al-Sharqat District, killing 60 jihadists of ISIS and destructing 15 vehicles belonging to them.”
Noman added, “The air strike was carried out based on accurate information from the intelligence of the Anti-Terrorism Bureau,” pointing out that, “The air strike target included a number of ISIS leaders who were preparing to attack Samarra City to disturb the security situation.”
