2 IPs killed, civilian injured in Baquba

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) Two policemen were killed and a civilian injured when a car bomb exploded near a police department in Baquba district of central Diyala province.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior, Saad Maan, stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com “Diyala police clashed with a terrorist who aim at detonating a car bomb near al-Salaam police department in Baquba.”

“The security forces prevented the terrorist from storming into the police department then he detonated his car bomb and killed two policemen and injured a civilian,” he concluded.
