Abdul-Sattar al-Bayraqdar, a spokesperson of the Iraqi judicial council, said in a statement that the Baghdad-based Central Criminal Court sentenced five persons to death by hanging for having operated at various sections of the militant group, finding them guilty of “taking part in fighting against security forces in the provinces of Anbar and Nineveh.
