Iraqi forces deactivate over 1000 explosive devices in Diyali

Diyali (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, the head of Diyali Council, Muthanna Al-Tamimi announced that the security forces managed to deactivate more than 1000 explosive devices.

Al-Tamimi informed IraqiNews, “During the past four months, the security forces have managed to deactivate more than 1000 explosive devices that were planted by ISIS in many areas to prevent the people from returning to their homes and slow down the Iraqi forces.”

“The ISIS militants are attempting to change the way the explosive devices work, however the security agencies have put their efforts and sacrificed their lives in order to remove the death devices in the province” he said.
