Iraqi forces seize 150kg C4 material northeast of Baqubah

(IraqiNews.com) Diyala – A security source in Diyali province said on Monday, that the joint security forces seized more than 150 kilograms of C4 explosive materials during military operations northeast of Baqubah.
According to information shared by the source and received by Iraqi News, “Joint security forces comprising of officials of the police and army and backed by al-Hashed al-Sha’bi [militia] seized more than 150 kilograms of C4 explosives inside a hideout in Hamrin Hills (70 km northeast of Baqubah),” adding, “The explosive materials were used by ISIS to manufacture explosive devices and vests.”
“The materials were transferred to one of the security headquarters in order to deal with it by the specialized detachments,” the information further added.
