Iraqi joint forces liberate Albu Jwari area northeast of Baiji

(IraqiNews.com) Salah AL-Dien – Federal Police announced on Tuesday, that the joint forces have liberated Albu Jwari area northeast of Baiji.
The commander in the Federal Police Sabah Ibrahim said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “on Thursday evening, the joint forces were able to liberate Albu Jwari area north-east of Baiji (40 km north of Tikrit).”
Ibrahim added: “the forces that participated in the operation are the Federal Police forces, the Anti-Terrorism Forces and al-Hashed al-Shaabi,” pointing out that, “these forces managed to kill four members of ISIS in the operation.”
