Iraqi police arrest 19 wanted individuals in Babel

(IraqiNews.com) Babel – Babel Police Command announced on Wednesday that nineteen (19) persons, wanted on charges of various criminal charges including murder and robbery, were arrested during various raids carried out in the province.
Babel Police, issuing a statement to the media, said, “Police forces carried out an extensive security campaign at different areas of the province to hunt down wanted persons and criminal gangs,” adding, “The numerous raids resulted in the arrest of nineteen (19) individuals, wanted for various criminal charges including murder, robbery and drug abuse.”
The statement added, “One of the arrests was made at al-Jumhouriya was charged with murder.”
