Iraqi soldier killed, woman wounded in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi soldier was killed and a woman wounded in an improvised explosive device blast in southeastern Mosul city on Friday, police said. “The IED went off near an Iraqi army patrol in al-Wihda neighborhood, southeastern Mosul. A soldier was killed in the blast and a woman who happened to be near the blast scene was wounded,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He did not give more information about the incident.
