IraqiNews.com publishes statistic regarding blasts, human casualties during last May
(IraqiNews.com) According to statistics prepared by IraqiNews.com, last May witnessed the highest number of armed attacks since years and the human casualties were the highest since 2008.
The statistics stipulate that “About (329) armed attacks and (70) car bombings took place in Iraq resulted in (562) deaths and (1898) injuries.”
Comparing to last previous months, May exceeded them in terms of deterioration in security situation and human casualties.
According to IraqiNews.com statistics “The terrorist attacks waged by terrorist groups reached (329) attacks, among them (70) attacks were conducted by car bombs and six of them were done by suicide bombers.”
“During the armed clashes between the security forces and the gunmen, the security forces managed to kill (28) gunmen in May,” the statistics explained.
“The (329) terrorist attacks are distributed among (75) in Baghdad, (67) in Nineveh, (61) in Anbar, (38) in Salah-il-Din, (33) in Diyala, (32) in Kirkuk, nine in Babel, three in Basra, two in Karbala and one terrorist attack in Maysan, Wasit, Najaf, Muthana, Dhi-Qar and Diwaniya,” the statistics pointed out. \END\
