Iraq’s Shiite al-Daawa Party leader’s guard killed, another injured in northeast Iraq’s Diyala Province
DIYALA / IraqiNews.com: A guard of Iraq’s Shiite al-Daawa Leader in northeast Iraq’s Diyala Province has been killed and another guard was wounded in an explosive charge stuck to their car in Diyala’s capital city of Baaquba, a Diyala police source said on Sunday. “An explosive charge stuck to the car of two guards of Diyala Province‘s former Parliament Member and Lerader in al-Daawa Party, Taha Dir‘a al-Saadi, has killed one of his guards and seriously wounded another, whilel passing through Khalis town, 15 kms to the north of Baaquba, the police source added. The police source gave no further details, but said the car was damaged. Baaquba, the center of Diyala Province, is 57 kms to the northeast of Baghdad. SKH 4
