ISIS abducts 23 civilians from Sharqat, Salahuddin

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that the ISIS group militants abducted 23 individuals from al-Sharqat after accused them of cooperation with the security forces.

The source stated to IraqiNews in an interview, “Elements of the ISIS group have kidnapped 23 civilians after carried out several raids on houses in the village of Asdirat in al-Sharqat district, located 120 km north of Tikrit,” pointing out that, “The group’s militants accused the 23 abducted individuals of cooperation with the Iraqi security forces.”

“The hostages were reportedly driven to an unknown destination,” the source added.
