ISIS attacks Assad base and al-Baghdadi complex using car bombs
(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – on Sunday, Iraqi troops and tribal fighters rebelled two ISIS attacks on the residential complex in al-Baghdadi district and al-Assad base west of Ramadi, using 5 car bombs.
A security source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com that ISIS militants attacked the residential compound in al-Baghdadi district using a bulldozer and car bombs driven by two suicide bombers, but the defenders of the residential complex had exploded them before they approached the compound.
The source added that three car bombs attacked Assad base, but Iraqi forces were able to destroy them before they approached the gates of the base.
