ISIS commander of Sharqat, Alam killed alongside 12 of his aides

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, Iraqi Ministry of Defense announced, that the ISIS commander of al-Sharqat and al-Alam areas has been killed alongside 12 of his key aides in a missile strike in Salahuddin.

The Iraqi Ministry of Defense said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews, “The Army’s military intelligence forces had confirmed the death of the senior ISIS leader and the ISIS military commander of al-Sharqat and al-Alam areas, better known as Abu Qatada, during a missile strike that targeted the headquarters of the ISIS group in Salahuddin province” pointing out that, “Twelve elements of his key aides have been also killed in the missile strike.”
