ISIS element arrested in Germany

(IraqiNews.com) On Friday, a source in the Iraqi Interior Ministry announced that the German authorities, with the help of Iraqi Airways, have arrested an ISIS element, pointing out that the detainee was heading to Germany from Erbil.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, ” On Thursday evening, the German authorities arrested a traveler that belongs to the ISIS organization upon his arrival to Germany,” noting that, “The traveler was coming from the province of Erbil.”

The source, who requested anonymity, added, “The arrest was made with the help of Iraqi Airways, according to accurate intelligence information received from Baghdad.”
