ISIS executes 3 lawyers, 8 associates of the security forces in Mosul

(IraqiNews.com) ISIS conducted a new episode in the series of crimes against the people of Mosul, where it had carried out the death sentence against three lawyers and 8 of the employees of the security forces, according to a Kurdish official on Thursday.
Ghias Surja, a media official of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, said in a press statement followed by Iraqinews.com, “ISIS has executed three lawyers working in Mosul Court without announcing the reason for their arrest.”
Surja added: “The three lawyers are from the people of Qayyarah south of Mosul. They were detained under difficult circumstances, and they were executed by firing squad in the center of Qayyarah District before the eyes of hundreds of residents.”
In a related context, Surja stated: ”ISIS has executed eight associate members of the security forces, the army and local police in Al-Issa village in Sharqat district before the eyes of their loved ones,” pointing out that, “ISIS prevented people from approaching the bodies or transferring them.”
