ISIS sniper killed by security forces in al-Maqduniya, Diyali

Diyali (IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday the chief of the police Gamil al-Shamri in DIyali province announced the death of an ISIS sniper who is known for targeting security elements in the battles.

Gamil al-Shamri informed IraqiNews, “A security operation in al-Maqduniya, 35 km north east of Baqubah resulted in targeting and killing the ISIS sniper while having been on the top of one of the buildings.”

“The security forces have managed to kill many ISIS snipers in the past few weeks at the conflict areas including al-Maqduniya. Most of the snipers held a non-Iraqi citizenship.” he said.
