Mosul (IraqiNews.com) Islamic State has executed a paramilitary senior leader and seven members of his family, south of Mosul, a security source said on Thursday.
“The militants were disguised in the uniform of security troops and stormed the house of Hussein al-Hamad, in charge of the Popular Mobilization Forces in a village in al-Shoura town, south of Mosul, executing him, his wife, five children and his father,” the source told Baghdad Today website.
“Joint troops of army and police arrived to the accident spot and transferred the victims to forensic medicine department. Operations were carried out in search for the perpetrators,” the source added.
