Joint forces kill 10 ISIS militants, free 6 villages eastern Baqubah

Diyali (IraqiNews.com) On Saturday, Diyali province police chief Lt. Gen. Jamil Al-Shammari announced, that the Iraqi security forces have killed 10 ISIS militants and regained control over 6 villages in eastern Baqubah

Al-Shammari said, “Army forces backed by the Iraqi Volunteer Forces, known as al-Hashed al-Sha’bi, have regained control over 6 villages in the area of al-Mansouriyah, located in eastern Baqubah,” noting that, “The areas of Sharouyin, al-Dawalib, Arab-Samir, Nijm al-Abdullah, and Tahul-lwan and Mansouriyat al-Jabal have been liberated from ISIS .”

“The ongoing clashes resulted in killing 10 elements of the ISIS group,” al-Shammari added.
