Karbala blast casualties on the rise: 23 killed, 147 wounded

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Casualties from the powerful blast that targeted Shiite visitors in Karbala earlier today rose to 23 dead and 147 wounded persons, a local medic said on Wednesday. “Al-Husseini hospital received 10 bodies, including two belonging to children and 55 wounded persons, including two kids and 10 women; al-Nesaaiya hospital received one wounded woman; while al-Hindiya hospital, (20 km east of Karbala), received 13 corpses and 91 injured persons,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency.
