Karbala casualties rise to 50

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Casualties from the explosion that took place in Karbala on Monday rose to eight dead and 42 wounded, according to a medical source. “The Karbala blast final toll reached eight dead and 42 wounded,” the source from the al-Hussein educational hospital told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Two unidentified men, four Iraqis and two Iranian visitors are among the dead people,” he added. “The wounded people includes 32 Iranian visitors and ten Iraqis, including two children,” the source explained. A security source had said earlier that a car rigged with explosives went off in Bab Towirij region targeting a buss carrying Iranian visitors, leaving scores of casualties.
