Karbala Police arrest Turkish fraudster
Karbala (IraqiNews.com) Karbala Police Department announced arresting a Turkish fraudster.
The Director of media and public relations of Karbala Police Department the Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Mohammed reported to IraqiNews.com “The Karbala Police Department has warned the owners of the Currency Exchange offices and the goldsmiths from been fooled by these criminals in Karbala province.”
LTC Mohammed added that “The security forces arrested the Turkish person red-handed of stealing amount of money from a shop,” noting that “The owner of the shop saw the thief carrying the stolen money from his shop and delivered the person to the security forces.”
The Director continued saying that “The police believes that a woman was accompanying the criminal and she was distracting attention of the owner of the shop while thief was stealing the money.”
He pointed out that “Similar incidents took place in the districts and neighborhoods where fraudsters use new methods of deception like hypnosis during implementing their fraud operation with the exchange offices owners.”
The Director called “The owners of the exchange offices and the goldsmiths to take precautionary measures and to set surveillance cameras as well as checking the currencies which they receive from people.” \
