Katusha rocket attack on Basra Airport, border post

  BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Southern Iraq’s Basra International Airport has come under a Katusha rocket attack on Wednesday, along with Basra’s Shalamja border post, causing no human losses, whilst the city’s police had arrested 23 wanted men, a Basra security source said.   “The Basra International Airport has come under a Katusha rocket attack on Wednesday, causing no losses, whilst the city’s Shalamja border post suffered a 5-Katusha rocket attack, also failing to cause human or material losses,” the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   Meanwile, the Basra Police Media Spokesman said that its police forces had carried out a search and inspection operation, detaining 23 men, wanted for carrying out different crimes.   SKH (PT) 877
