Kidnapped freed, kidnapper arrested southern Basra

Basra (IraqiNews.com) Basra Police freed a kidnapped person and arrested his kidnapper southern Basra province.

Basra Police Commander General Faisal al-Ebadi, stated to IraqiNews.com “Police patrols formed a team to track and verify information over kidnapping a woman on March 7th ,” noting that “The team discovered that the victim is locked up at an apartment in Abu al-Khasib district of southern Basra.”

“A force from Basra police stormed in the apartment to free the kidnapped woman and arrest her kidnapper on Thursday,” according to General Ebadi.
