Liberation operations of Nineveh, Sharqat will be launched before Ramadan, says Obeidi

(IraqiNews.com)  Salahaddin – Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi announced on Wednesday, that the liberation operations of the province of Nineveh and Sharqat District north of Tikrit will be launched a month before Ramadan, asserting that there are operations carried out against ISIS in Mosul.

Obeidi’s office said in a brief statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “His visit to the province of Salahuddin came to see the fortifications and plans for the protection of victories,” stressing that, “He personally will try to help Salahuddin province to make financial allocations for the continuation of the reconstruction process, especially the cleansing campaign in Baiji (40 km north of Tikrit).”
