(IraqiNews.com) – The leader in al-Hashd al-Shaabi Jabbar al-Mamouri stated on Saturday, that ISIS detained seven families inside a booby-trapped house north of Salahuddin, while pointed out that the security forces managed to rescue the detained families.
Mamouri said in a press statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “ISIS detained seven families, mostly women and children, inside a booby-trapped house to be used as human shields in Sharqat Island north of Salahuddin,” pointing out that, “The security forces managed to dismantle the improvised explosive devices and released the detained families.”
“ISIS members realized that they lost the battle, so they booby-trapped the house to transform it to an ambush for the security forces,” Mamouri added.
