Mid-Euphrates Command declares success of Eid security plan

Babel, Hilla (IraqiNews.com) The Commander of Middle Euphrates Operations, Lieutenant General Othman al-Ghanimi, assured that the precautionary operation carried out by security forces in the areas of northern Kut and Hilla reduced and limited the operations of terrorist groups.Ghanimi stated to IraqiNews.com ”The police and army forces carried out precautionary operations lasted for two weeks that resulted in arresting dozens of Qaeda elements and seizing many terrorist shelters and weapon caches which reflect the success of security plan dedicated for Eid Adha.””The security forces within the Middle Operations Command will continue in chasing the terrorists even after days of Eid Adha in the areas of northern Babel till cleaning the area of all terrorist groups,” he concluded. \END\
