MoD: ISF kill many ISIL terrorists, detonate car bombs in Anbar

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Defense reported killing many terrorists of the ISIL in Anbar province.

Statement by the MoD received by IraqiNews.com cited Sunday “Elements of the Iraqi Army/ 8th Division killed 19 terrorists and injured another in Albu Hussein and Yatama areas in Amiriyat al-Fallujah district in Anbar province.”

“Elements of the Quick Response Force/ 1st Division killed three terrorists and burnt a vehicle for the terrorists mounted with a heavy machine gun,” the statement added.

“Security elements within Jazira and Badiya Operations Command detonated a car bomb parked near Baghdadi Fuel Station under control without casualties,” the statement mentioned, noting that “Another force opened fire targeting a car bomb approaching a check point in Haqlaniya area to explode before reaching the check point, killing the terrorists travelling by the vehicle.” /End/
